Turbine flange ball valve is an important kind of valve, which is widely used in petrochemical industry, long-distance pipeline and other fields. The closing part of turbine flange ball valve is a ball (or part of the ball) with a hole. The ball rotates with the valve stem to open or close the valve.

In all kinds of valves, the flow resistance of the ball valve is the smallest. When the full bore ball valve is opened, the ball channel, the valve channel and the connecting pipe diameter are equal and form a diameter, and the medium can flow through almost without loss. The ball valve can be fully closed and fully opened by rotating 90° and can be opened and closed quickly. Compared with gate valve and globe valve of the same specification, the ball valve is small in volume and light in weight, which is convenient for pipeline installation.
